The Balm Debuts Autobalm Eye Shadow Palettes Inspired by License Plates
The Balm Cosmetics has a reputation for its cheeky products and equally whimsical packaging; Bahama Mama Bronzer, Shady Lady Shadow, and Meet Matt(e) Palette are just a few of our personal favorites. Now, though, it appears we might have more to add to the aforementioned list, as the brand just announced its new Autobalm collection and it looks beyond epic.
The collection consists of three palettes: Grl Pwdr, Day 2 Nite, and Pic Perf. Both the latter and Day 2 Nite offer purely eye shadows, while Grl Pwdr is an adorable four-pan blush palette featuring shades of coral, pink-champagne, and peach. What’s more, each palette is designed to look exactly like a license plate, complete with the requisite metal packaging and signature lettering style.
Day 2 Nite features — you guessed it — shades that make it easy to transition from day-to-night makeup. It consists of colors like blue, bronze, and black, all of which are great for a “going out” look, as well as neutral hues to create a solid base shade. Pic Perf, on the other hand, has a vibrant teal, cranberry, and army green, in addition to two medium-brown colors you could wear every day.
The best part? OK, it might not be the best, but it’s pretty darn good if you ask us. Each palette comes with its own big mirror inside, which makes them ideal for when you’re strapped for time and doing your makeup in an Uber or going on vacation and need a palette that has it all. All three retail for $26.50 and you can score them at thebalm.com should you fancy a fun new addition to your makeup arsenal.
