Is it unhealthy to eat only 1 meal a day? : loseit
I explained to my wife that I feel like if I eat a large meal, it holds me over for almost the entire day. So I have been intermediate fasting, eating only 1 large meal a day, occasionally I might eat a small cup of green beans or chopped carrots in between if I get real hungry, and I do give myself breaks where I snack through the day or eat 3 meals for a day to keep things from getting stale. For the most part I’ve stayed at 1 large meal a day and I’ve lost probably 20-25 lbs again, with probably 100 or so more to lose.
My wife insists that 1 meal a day is unhealthy and is teaching my kids an unhealthy eating habit.
What are the opinions of this sub?
