Can I train myself to fall asleep right after work? : DecidingToBeBetter
The earliest I ever get home from work is 10pm. I’m lucky if I’m asleep by 1am but it’s usually more like 2:30 when I truly fall asleep. I have to get up at 9am to go back to work. I really want more time to myself in the mornings before work, but I have a very hard time unwinding from all the stimuli of the day. I also seem to have something of an inertia problem – when I’m awake, I want to stay awake; when I’m asleep, I want to stay asleep. Has anyone mastered a similar predicament? What can I do (that isn’t taking drugs) to make myself unwind faster? Thanks!
